Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Botanorrego FC's Laércio Taveira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mauro Alcântara charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mauro Alcântara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 9 played minutes Bertioga City got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Alcântara. Laércio Taveira struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Honorato Lobato didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Botanorrego FC. Honorato Lobato came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Botanorrego FC's Juvenal Serpa. But to his dismay, Juvenal Serpa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Sálvio Marinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Laércio Taveira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Honorato Lobato was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The supporters of Botanorrego FC booed when Bertioga City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adelino Espírito Santo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Nuno Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delfim Lage who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Sálvio Marinho when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sálvio Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Alcântara in the 28th minute of play. The supporters of Botanorrego FC booed when Bertioga City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adelino Espírito Santo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honorato Lobato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laércio Taveira in the 31st minute of play. After taking down the ball on Botanorrego FC's corner 叶翔昂 fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Honorato Lobato quite easily take care of the ball. Botanorrego FC's Sálvio Marinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Alcântara in the 36th minute of play. Delfim Lage sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, Botanorrego FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Alcântara came free, but Sálvio Marinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Botanorrego FC's zone, Delfim Lage stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sálvio Marinho came out of the goal and Delfim Lage tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Delfim Lage was extremely unlucky when he, in the 46th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The supporters of Bertioga City booed when Botanorrego FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. 叶翔昂 didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mauro Alcântara made a kick off. In the 54th minute Delfim Lage shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sálvio Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delfim Lage in the 55th minute of play forced Botanorrego FC's goalkeeper Sálvio Marinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laércio Taveira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Honorato Lobato made a huge save. When Bernardo Ramalho fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bertioga City's protests and gave Bernardo Ramalho a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, Bernardo Ramalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the game, Juvenal Serpa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Honorato Lobato. Juvenal Serpa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. An unexpected shot in the 62nd minute by Laércio Taveira got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 66 minutes into the match, Bertioga City's Mauro Alcântara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sálvio Marinho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Bertioga City getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Honorato Cunha hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the match, Bertioga City's goalkeeper Honorato Lobato had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nuno Lopes. In the 71st minute, Bertioga City's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Laércio Taveira fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Delfim Lage sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Mauro Alcântara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sálvio Marinho was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Nuno Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Botanorrego FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuno Lopes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Honorato Lobato breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Bertioga City's Honorato Lobato got control of the ball when Laércio Taveira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Honorato Lobato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 叶翔昂 in the 83rd minute of the match. Mauro Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute Moisés Osório shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sálvio Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Bertioga City defense, 叶翔昂 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Honorato Lobato. The Bertioga City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Honorato Lobato should have stopped the shot. In the 96th minute, Olívio Camargo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 叶翔昂 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Botanorrego FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bertioga City throughout the match.
