Spectators: 7560 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Pedro Coutinho made the kick off which started today's match. After 3 minutes of play, Devils's Avelino Carreira made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sálvio Marinho was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Avelino Carreira got free with Sálvio Marinho in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 叶翔昂 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Valter Pinhal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Avelino Carreira succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 10th playminute. After a defensive mix-up in Devils's zone, Nuno Lopes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valter Pinhal came out of the goal and Nuno Lopes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 16 played minutes Devils got a freekick which was hit by Rui Fidalgo. 17 minutes in the game Artur Damásio did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Vítor Furtado. In the 24th minute, Laércio Taveira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valter Pinhal was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 27th minute, David Marinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, Nuno Lopes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valter Pinhal. Devils's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nuno Lopes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Coutinho in the 44th minute of play forced Botanorrego FC's goalkeeper Sálvio Marinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Lopes came free, but Valter Pinhal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Laércio Taveira made a kick off. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Devils's Valter Pinhal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juvenal Serpa in the 91st minute of play.
