Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ricardo Rego made the kick off and thus started the match. Lombo's Hermano Garcez got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute of the match Jorge Peralta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Afonso Morais skillfully saved the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Lombo's goalkeeper Eusébio Amaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardo Rego. Hermano Garcez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aloísio Sampaio during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 26 played minutes FC Lauro got a freekick which was hit by Aloísio Sampaio. The supporters of FC Lauro booed when Lombo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cassiano Paião didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cassiano Paião kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Fernando Trigueiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Afonso Morais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermano Garcez in the 42nd minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hermano Garcez to make the kick off. Nuno Caiado kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Eusébio Amaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Rego in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Ricardo Rego cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Eusébio Amaro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jorge Peralta kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Ricardo Rego missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 65 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Eusébio Amaro right hand side. 74 minutes into the game, FC Lauro's Ricardo Rego nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eusébio Amaro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Ricardo Rego hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Aloísio Sampaio hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After 83rd play minutes Hermano Garcez shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Afonso Morais and just under the crossbar into goal. Ricardo Rego recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st minute, Ricardo Rego left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Lauro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1.
