The Barroco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aprígio Modesto should have stopped the shot. When Lucas Assunção, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 11 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Aprígio Modesto was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. A collision led to Malandros Unidos CF getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Malandros Unidos CF's Hugo Vilalobos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Malandros Unidos CF from getting a goal against them. In the 37th minute, Hugo Lucena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Malandros Unidos CF's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Damião Rebocho 39 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. Malandros Unidos CF's Hugo Vilalobos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Malandros Unidos CF from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Barroco's zone, Eurico Conde stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aprígio Modesto came out of the goal and Eurico Conde tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucas Assunção was the one to do the kick off. Hugo Vilalobos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martinho Medeiros in the 53rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Barroco's Hugo Lucena got a free kick in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martinho Medeiros in the 60th minute of play forced Malandros Unidos CF's goalkeeper Hugo Vilalobos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 4-1 became the score in the 62nd minute when Damião Rebocho elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Hugo Vilalobos came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Barroco's Damião Rebocho. But to his dismay, Damião Rebocho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Hugo Vilalobos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Lucena in the 69th minute of the match. A collision led to Barroco getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Renato Maia hit a great ball. Aprígio Modesto was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Eurico Conde. In the 75th play minute Lucas Assunção came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aprígio Modesto. 5-2. After 82 minutes, Martinho Medeiros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barroco and the Malandros Unidos CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd match minute, Barroco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martinho Medeiros to maneuver through the defense.
