Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Damião Rebocho started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Hugo Lucena's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Afonso Morais firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 9th minute, Ricardo Rego ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aprígio Modesto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. FC Lauro's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Hugo Lucena scored to the left of an out of position Afonso Morais, making the score, 1-1. Afonso Morais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damião Rebocho in the 35th minute of play. When Ricardo Rego came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the FC Lauro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Rego couldn't finish the play. Aprígio Modesto came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Lauro's Ricardo Rego. But to his dismay, Ricardo Rego quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 43rd minute Ricardo Rego shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aprígio Modesto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Lucena's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Afonso Morais skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Lucena got free with Afonso Morais in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Barroco players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Lauro were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricardo Rego made a kick off. After 54 minutes, Damião Rebocho made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. FC Lauro's Afonso Morais tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 59th match minute, Barroco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Brás to maneuver through the defense. Aprígio Modesto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Rego, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rubim Viegas kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Ricardo Regos short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Aprígio Modesto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 70 minutes, Alípio Belém managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Lauro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alípio Belém was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alcides Macedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Aprígio Modesto made a huge save. Afonso Morais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Lucena in the 81st minute of the match. After 85 played minutes Barroco got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Brás. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Rego in the 85th minute of play forced Barroco's goalkeeper Aprígio Modesto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Barroco getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Salvador Brás hit a great ball. After 89 minutes, Afonso Padilha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Lauro and the Barroco players grew even worse after the yellow card. Damião Rebocho scored 3-2 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Afonso Morais, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 93 minutes into the game, Aloísio Sampaio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Lauro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barroco the free kick. Aloísio Sampaio hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. A collision led to FC Lauro getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Abílio Aguiar hit a great ball. Barroco's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
