Silvano Lages hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Creative GFC's Baltasar Assunção proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Creative GFC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Creative GFC's Baltasar Assunção got control of the ball when Xavier Neiva tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 9th minute Severiano Gueifão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Peru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim Amado hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Laurentino Miguéis lost his temper 17 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. A collision led to Samorim FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Laurentino Miguéis hit a great ball. Creative GFC's Lázaro Novais got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 26 minutes into the game, Márcio Salazar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Iker Peru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Iker Peru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Márcio Salazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Gueifão in the 33rd minute of play forced Samorim FC's goalkeeper Iker Peru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Xavier Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iker Peru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Gueifão in the 42nd minute of the match. Márcio Salazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Peru having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Márcio Salazar to make the kick off. Hélder Rodrigues got a throw-in 51 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Joaquim Amado. Baltasar Assunção came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Samorim FC's Xavier Neiva. But to his dismay, Xavier Neiva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Samorim FC's Alex Mendes got a free kick in the 54th minute. Joaquim Amado took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baltasar Assunção. Baltasar Assunção dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Baltasar Assunção showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavier Neiva in the 67th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Creative GFC defense, Xavier Neiva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baltasar Assunção. The Creative GFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baltasar Assunção should have stopped the shot. Alex Mendes's late challenge caught a Creative GFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Mendes helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Samorim FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Alex Mendes hit a great ball. Samorim FC's Iker Peru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Samorim FC from getting a goal against them. João Pinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Creative GFC were furious when Silvano Lages was red carded, 81 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Creative GFC! Baltasar Assunção had in the 83rdth minute some difficulties stopping Alex Mendes's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 83rd minute, Alex Mendes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Samorim FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Baltasar Assunção showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavier Neiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, João Teixeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Creative GFC's supporters rose to their feet, but João Teixeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iker Peru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Baltasar Assunção made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Amado in the 98th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Samorim FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Creative GFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
