Jerónimo Rocha helped the player get up and apologised. Jerónimo Rocha hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Imortais FC's goalkeeper Higino Caiado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardo Monteiro. Higino Caiado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardo Monteiro in the 17th minute. In the 19th match minute, FC Tugalions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saúl Gentil to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, FC Tugalions's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Lima came free, but Abílio Corte-Real reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Raimundo Taveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Imortais FC's Higino Caiado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Imortais FC from getting a goal against them. Higino Caiado made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Bernardo Monteiro sent off a good shot on target. 36 minutes into the match, Imortais FC's goalkeeper Higino Caiado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardo Monteiro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Taveira in the 37th minute of play forced FC Tugalions's goalkeeper Abílio Corte-Real to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raimundo Taveira took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abílio Corte-Real. Abílio Corte-Real dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Abílio Corte-Real showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentim Valadares in the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valentim Valadares was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Saúl Gentil notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Imortais FC's Higino Caiado. Higino Caiado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Higino Caiado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hamilton Póvoas's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Abílio Corte-Real stood somewhat misplaced when Valentim Valadares came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 64 minute. The supporters of FC Tugalions booed when Imortais FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Normando Macedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Monteiro scored 2-2 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Higino Caiado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Abílio Corte-Real managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Imortais FC's Valentim Valadares fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Valentim Valadares who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Abílio Corte-Real when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Abílio Corte-Real showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentim Valadares in the 82nd minute of the match. Abílio Corte-Real was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Sálvio Passos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sálvio Passos really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. A collision led to Imortais FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Raimundo Taveira hit a great ball. Valentim Valadares received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Abílio Corte-Real came out and tried to block the shot, but Valentim Valadares slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 90th minute. When the final whistle sounded Imortais FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Tugalions.
