Samarras FCG's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Valdemar Vieira scored to the left of an out of position Lê Teo, making the score, 1-0. Pedro Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Bruno Conde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruno Conde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Câmara in the 17th minute of play. Hermenegildo Leão charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hermenegildo Leão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th match minute, Samarras FCG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermenegildo Leão to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute, Jorge Diegues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruno Conde stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raimundo Câmara's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. In the 39th match minute, Samarras FCG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Soares to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, Paulo Saraiva sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Samarras FCG's Lê Teo didn't even have to move. Valdemar Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45thth minute of the game Raimundo Câmara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laborinense FC's Bruno Conde was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bruno Conde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Câmara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raimundo Câmara made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Raimundo Câmara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Conde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Saraiva kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. If Raimundo Câmara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Caiado hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Raimundo Câmara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 59 played minutes Laborinense FC got a freekick which was hit by Alcino Palmeira. Pedro Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Conde having to interfere. Raul Lousada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Lê Teo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alcino Palmeira hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. If Pedro Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno Conde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Correia in the 79th minute. Bruno Conde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Câmara in the 80th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Correia got free with Bruno Conde in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raimundo Câmara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Conde read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Samarras FCG's Felice Fino got a free kick in the 96th minute. Laborinense FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
