Igor Bernardes scored 1-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mário Valério, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vasco Antas was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 34 minutes into the match. Armindo Fraga was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Dániel Demeter capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dániel Demeter really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Dániel Demeter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armindo Fraga having to interfere. Mário Valério made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Bernardes in the 56th minute of play. After 57 played minutes Dourada FC got a freekick which was hit by Dániel Demeter. A hard shot by Jairo Candal from long distance, 58 minutes into the match, got Mário Valério's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Dourada FC's Mário Valério proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Dourada FC from getting a goal against them. Dourada FC's Dániel Demeter got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Álvaro Teixeira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 71stth minute, Mário Valério skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 77th minute, Igor Bernardes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mário Valério was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Alfredo Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Mesquita's Igor Bernardes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mário Valério. That made the score 2-4 after 96 minutes of play. When the final whistle sounded Mesquita left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Dourada FC.
