Spectators: 6500 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adalberto Varela started the match with the kick off. If Sandrinho Lackey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to JUVELEO FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Adalberto Varela hit a great ball. Dário Lemos was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 19th minute. JUVELEO FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Igor Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Perdigão in the 21st minute of play. Adalberto Varela's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Igor Branco firmly grabbed it by the left post. Igor Branco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adalberto Varela went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to SC Apressados getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Vicente Mansilha hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Adalberto Varela left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JUVELEO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Cláudio Ramalho kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sandrinho Lackey made a kick off. With a little luck, JUVELEO FC's Rodrigo Baptista got control of the ball when Sandrinho Lackey tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adolfo Perdigão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Baptista came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Apressados's Sandrinho Lackey. But to his dismay, Sandrinho Lackey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. SC Apressados's Igor Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adalberto Varela in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dário Lemos in the 68th minute of play forced SC Apressados's goalkeeper Igor Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Igor Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adalberto Varela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led JUVELEO FC's Ricardo Varanda to fire away a dangerous shot which Igor Branco despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Rodrigo Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Idalécio Cabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After 84 minutes of play, JUVELEO FC's Dário Lemos made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Igor Branco was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 87th minute, Dário Lemos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JUVELEO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. 90 minutes into the game, Adalberto Varela cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Igor Branco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dário Lemos struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Igor Branco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JUVELEO FC. Adalberto Varela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. JUVELEO FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
