Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when André Carvalheira kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Valentina Stars's zone, Evandro Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerónimo Prada came out of the goal and Evandro Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute of the game Rúben Quintanilha made a throw-in which André Carvalheira played forward. 32 minutes into the game, Águia do Norte FC's Álvaro Graça nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jerónimo Prada made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. André Carvalheira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Andujar having to interfere. Jerónimo Prada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evandro Cunha in the 40th minute of play. Magno Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Jerónimo Prada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evandro Cunha to strike the kick off in the second half. Rúben Quintanilha made in the 52nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which André Carvalheira however managed to control. After 57 played minutes Valentina Stars got a freekick which was hit by Tarcísio Salgado. The supporters of Águia do Norte FC booed when Valentina Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Assis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 64 played minutes Valentina Stars got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Fontoura. Evandro Cunha scored 0-2 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jerónimo Prada, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jerónimo Prada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evandro Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Máximo Assunção fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Andujar having to interfere. After 83 minutes of play, Valentina Stars's André Carvalheira made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mariano Andujar was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Evandro Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the game, Kevin Fontoura was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valentina Stars's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Águia do Norte FC the free kick. Kevin Fontoura hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Evandro Cunha sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Valentina Stars's Jerónimo Prada didn't even have to move. After 94 played minutes Águia do Norte FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Jesus. The Valentina Stars manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Águia do Norte FC to win.
