Ulizes Boldu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Estevão Montenegro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, SLVidigueira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Chagas to maneuver through the defense. Ulizes Boldu in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Ulizes Boldu struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Estevão Montenegro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Green Lion. If Ulizes Boldu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Avelino Torcato blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Estevão Montenegro having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulizes Boldu in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Estevão Montenegro saved SLVidigueira from getting behind. Sandro Vital kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. When Ulizes Boldu came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Green Lion fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulizes Boldu couldn't finish the play. If Henrique Durães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in SLVidigueira's zone, Ulizes Boldu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Estevão Montenegro came out of the goal and Ulizes Boldu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Estevão Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulizes Boldu in the 38th minute of the match. SLVidigueira's Estevão Montenegro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save SLVidigueira from getting a goal against them. Henrique Durães struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Estevão Montenegro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Green Lion. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Estevão Montenegro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ulizes Boldu went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. 55 minutes into the match, SLVidigueira's goal looked a bit too open when Henrique Durães came free, but Estevão Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulizes Boldu in the 87th minute of play forced SLVidigueira's goalkeeper Estevão Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Green Lion's Simão Colaço got control of the ball when Filipe Chagas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Estevão Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulizes Boldu, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
