Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) SC Reca's Diogo Pinhal started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Viriato Guterres scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristiano Vargas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Andorinha FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Isa Adeleye hit a great ball. Cristiano Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentino Veremundo in the 8th minute of play. Isa Adeleye took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristiano Vargas. Cristiano Vargas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Cristiano Vargas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isa Adeleye, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isa Adeleye took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristiano Vargas. Cristiano Vargas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Cristiano Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justo Lluterio in the 20th minute of play. After 22 minutes, Ricardo Baptista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Reca and the Andorinha FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Ricardo Baptista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, SC Reca's goal looked a bit too open when Florentino Veremundo came free, but Cristiano Vargas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute Isa Adeleye shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrício Azeredo lost his temper 25 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Patrício Azeredo kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Benedito Vasconcelos notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of SC Reca's Cristiano Vargas. Cristiano Vargas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Andorinha FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Octávio Ferraz was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Reca's players had a chance to rest. SC Reca's Octávio Ferraz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Abel Ferreira in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Paolo Fernendo took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristiano Vargas. Cristiano Vargas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. In the 40th minute, Benedito Vasconcelos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristiano Vargas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. After 45 played minutes Andorinha FC got a freekick which was hit by Isa Adeleye. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

SC Reca's Cristiano Vargas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save SC Reca from getting a goal against them. 55 minutes into the game, Florentino Veremundo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Cristiano Vargas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 59th minute, Andorinha FC's Isa Adeleye dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. Cristiano Vargas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isa Adeleye's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Julião Albuquerque hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Jorge Poças's late challenge caught a Andorinha FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Poças helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th minute, Jorge Poças hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 68 played minutes Andorinha FC got a freekick which was hit by Nivaldo Galvão. Hamilton Quental fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Ferreira having to interfere. If Isa Adeleye had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 71 played minutes SC Reca got a freekick which was hit by Julião Albuquerque. After a defensive mix-up in SC Reca's zone, Isa Adeleye stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristiano Vargas came out of the goal and Isa Adeleye tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isa Adeleye sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Ivan Harri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Andorinha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivan Harri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Vargas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 91 played minutes SC Reca got a freekick which was hit by Julião Albuquerque. When the final whistle sounded Andorinha FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SC Reca.
