In the 3rd minute of the match, Ulizes Boldu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dimas Gomes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ulizes Boldu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dimas Gomes came out and tried to block the shot, but Ulizes Boldu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. Dimas Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulizes Boldu in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Green Lion's goal looked a bit too open when Óscar Macieira came free, but Simão Colaço reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simão Colaço showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimas Andrade in the 19th minute of the match. Dimas Gomes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saúl Caneira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Saúl Caneira came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Green Lion fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saúl Caneira couldn't finish the play. If Ulizes Boldu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 31st minute, Ulizes Boldu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dimas Gomes. The goal made the score 2-0. Ulizes Boldu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dimas Gomes having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Henrique Durães managed to get in a good position for a shot. Green Lion's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrique Durães was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dimas Gomes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dimas Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulizes Boldu in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulizes Boldu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dimas Gomes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulizes Boldu's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Sinterra FC's Dimas Gomes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulizes Boldu in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute Saúl Caneira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimas Gomes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Simão Colaço successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 60 minutes into the game, Ulizes Boldu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Dimas Gomes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Henrique Durães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulizes Boldu in the 64th minute of play forced Sinterra FC's goalkeeper Dimas Gomes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saúl Caneira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simão Colaço took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Óscar Macieira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. António Magalhães was slow to take the kick. During this time Green Lion's players had a chance to rest. Óscar Macieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simão Colaço having to interfere. Dimas Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saúl Caneira in the 79th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Dimas Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sinterra FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dimas Andrade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simão Colaço breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 84 minutes into the game, Saúl Caneira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Green Lion's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sinterra FC the free kick. Green Lion's Simão Colaço played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josué Marques in the 86th minute of play. With a little luck, Green Lion's Simão Colaço got control of the ball when Dimas Andrade tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 89th play minutes Ulizes Boldu shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Dimas Gomes and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Green Lion's António Magalhães got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute Óscar Macieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simão Colaço saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Green Lion were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sinterra FC for a fine match.
