Spectators: 8030 (Terracing: 6024, Seating: 1846, VIP seats: 160) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ferenc van Nistelrooij made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, S.João de Areias's Salvador Viegas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Horácio Festas. Horácio Festas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Ferenc van Nistelrooij succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 9th playminute. After a rather tough play, Geriatricos FC's Gentil Bernardes got a free kick in the 12th minute. 13 minutes in the game, Bonifacio Aznar fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Horácio Festas having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 14 minutes, Horácio Festas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Horácio Festas was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Fatih Tekke capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fatih Tekke really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Ferenc van Nistelrooij received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Horácio Festas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Horácio Festas was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Salvador Viegas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Salvador Viegas really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. Horácio Festas had great luck who in the 32ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Salvador Viegas from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Yusuf Ziya Sertaç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacob Lessa in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Aznar in the 42nd minute of play forced Geriatricos FC's goalkeeper Horácio Festas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. S.João de Areias's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Silvano Severo in the 44th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Paulo Zambujal heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The wind increased when Vítor Benevides made the kick off in the second half. Ferenc van Nistelrooij scored 7-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Horácio Festas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ferenc van Nistelrooij took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horácio Festas. Horácio Festas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. S.João de Areias's Salvador Viegas got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Salvador Viegas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Horácio Festas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fatih Tekke in the 64th minute of the match. Fatih Tekke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Horácio Festas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fatih Tekke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horácio Festas having to interfere. If Ferenc van Nistelrooij had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horácio Festas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferenc van Nistelrooij in the 74th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Bonifacio Aznar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horácio Festas. Geriatricos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bonifacio Aznar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. 85 minutes into the game, S.João de Areias's Bonifacio Aznar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Horácio Festas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. Yusuf Ziya Sertaç made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Tomás Carneiro sent off a good shot on target. In the 94th minute, Ferenc van Nistelrooij ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horácio Festas was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. S.João de Areias walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
