The crowd rose to their feet as Bonifacio Aznar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving António Coutinho. That made the score 3-0 in the 17 minute of play. 22 minutes in the game, Bonifacio Aznar fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without António Coutinho having to interfere. After 23 played minutes Folgosinho Lions got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Menezes. António Coutinho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ferenc van Nistelrooij went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Ferenc van Nistelrooij struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. António Coutinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.João de Areias. Folgosinho Lions's António Coutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Aznar in the 31st minute of play. With a little luck, Folgosinho Lions's António Coutinho got control of the ball when Ferenc van Nistelrooij tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 34th minute, Ferenc van Nistelrooij made a precise shot to the right of António Coutinho. Folgosinho Lions's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. António Coutinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fatih Tekke, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute.
