Spectators: 7980 (Terracing: 5986, Seating: 1835, VIP seats: 159) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vítor Benevides kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute, Alcides Patrício ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horácio Festas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Jacob Lessa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horácio Festas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alcides Patrício in the 13th minute of the match. A collision led to Geriatricos FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Octávio Horta hit a great ball. Tomás Carneiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Norberto Ponte made a huge save. Norberto Ponte was a little too slow when Joaquim Mascarenhas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-1. After 22 played minutes Geriatricos FC got a freekick which was hit by Jacob Santarém. Lúcio Brochado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Horácio Festas having to make a save. In the 24th minute Filiph Hääger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horácio Festas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacob Lessa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Norberto Ponte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 27 minutes into the game, when Paulo Velasques put in a rough tackle. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Geriatricos FC! Lourenço Paiva struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Norberto Ponte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Geriatricos FC. Jacob Lessa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Filiph Hääger fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Capinha's protests and gave Filiph Hääger a yellow card for diving instead. Filiph Hääger hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Capinha's zone, Jacob Lessa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norberto Ponte came out of the goal and Jacob Lessa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 48 minutes into the match, Alcides Patrício had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Horácio Festas. Geriatricos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alcides Patrício was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alcides Patrício was the one to do the kick off. Jacob Lessa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 56 played minutes Capinha got a freekick which was hit by Ilya Malyhov. Joaquim Mascarenhas hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Norberto Ponte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacob Lessa in the 61st minute of the match. Norberto Ponte came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Geriatricos FC's Jacob Lessa. But to his dismay, Jacob Lessa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. After a rather tough play, Geriatricos FC's Jacob Lessa got a free kick in the 64th minute. If Lúcio Brochado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lúcio Brochado fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Capinha's protests and gave Lúcio Brochado a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th minute, Lúcio Brochado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norberto Ponte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacob Lessa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacob Lessa scored 4-3 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Norberto Ponte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92nd minute, Jacob Lessa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomás Carneiro's late challenge caught a Capinha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomás Carneiro helped the player get up and apologised. Geriatricos FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
