Filipe Gois struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Valentim Baía didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Desconhecido. Teófilo Taborda scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valentim Baía, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Forlusitanos's Hilário Barcelos got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute Teófilo Taborda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentim Baía saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hilário Barcelos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Gueifão having to interfere. Caetano Santarém sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Hilário Barcelos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Forlusitanos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 36 minutes into the match, SC Desconhecido's goalkeeper Danilo Gueifão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Durval Fraga. Hilário Barcelos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Gueifão having to interfere. After 40 minutes, Osvaldo Telinhos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Forlusitanos and the SC Desconhecido players grew even worse after the yellow card. Osvaldo Telinhos hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After 41 played minutes Forlusitanos got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano Pádua.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teófilo Taborda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Valentim Baía showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teófilo Taborda, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Valentim Baía made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filipe Gois in the 52nd minute. After 78 minutes of play, SC Desconhecido's Teófilo Taborda made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valentim Baía was left in no man's land by his defense there! Valentim Baía made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandrino Menezes in the 84th minute of play. Teófilo Taborda took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valentim Baía. Valentim Baía dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. The SC Desconhecido players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
