Spectators: 7975 (Terracing: 5983, Seating: 1834, VIP seats: 158) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Higino Estrada got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Trevor Edwards made a precise shot to the right of António Coutinho. Folgosinho Lions's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 11th minute, Higino Estrada left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Folgosinho Lions fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Chapecoense's Romão Bentes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of António Coutinho. That made the score 3-1 after 16 minutes of play. António Coutinho stood somewhat misplaced when Trevor Edwards came free in front of goal and shot 4-1 to the left of him in the 19 minute. Trevor Edwardss short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got António Coutinho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Folgosinho Lions's Fernando Freitas got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute, Altino Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th match minute, Folgosinho Lions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Freitas to maneuver through the defense. Chapecoense were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Folgosinho Lions's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Olívio Severo took the corner. Romão Bentes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. António Coutinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Chapecoense fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Chapecoense's Trevor Edwards looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Folgosinho Lions's António Coutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romão Bentes in the 40th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Folgosinho Lions's zone, Romão Bentes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. António Coutinho came out of the goal and Romão Bentes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Trevor Edwards made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Folgosinho Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Romão Bentes came free, but António Coutinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Folgosinho Lions's Higino Estrada sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kaan Navas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Folgosinho Lions getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Higino Estrada hit a great ball. When Trevor Edwards came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Chapecoense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Trevor Edwards couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Romão Bentes put it in 7-1 from a short distance just to the right of António Coutinho. Romão Bentes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Trevor Edwards's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but António Coutinho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sílvio Ferrão got free with Kaan Navas in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Trevor Edwards might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over António Coutinho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Trevor Edwards ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 80th minute, Higino Estrada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 83 played minutes Chapecoense got a freekick which was hit by Romão Bentes. António Coutinho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romão Bentes's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. António Coutinho came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Chapecoense's Trevor Edwards. But to his dismay, Trevor Edwards quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-1. 91 minutes into the match, Romão Bentes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of António Coutinho. Folgosinho Lions's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Romão Bentes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romão Bentes in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck António Coutinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
