The referee showed Fernando Freitas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fernando Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. António Coutinho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raimundo Salgado went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Raimundo Salgado might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over António Coutinho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raimundo Salgado ran back to his position shaking his head. Liviu Bădiță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Lustosa in the 22nd minute of play. A collision led to Folgosinho Lions getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Fernando Freitas hit a great ball. The Vareiros FC fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Vareiros FC's Raimundo Salgado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Liviu Bădiță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higino Estrada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 minutes of play, Vareiros FC's Raimundo Salgado made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. António Coutinho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Raimundo Salgado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without António Coutinho having to make a save. A collision led to Folgosinho Lions getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Higino Estrada hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raimundo Salgado in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg António Coutinho saved Folgosinho Lions from getting behind. 42 minutes into the game, Raimundo Salgado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. António Coutinho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Liviu Bădiță made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sílvio Ferrão in the 46th minute. Raimundo Salgado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but António Coutinho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

Folgosinho Lions's António Coutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Salgado in the 51st minute of play. Raimundo Salgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Folgosinho Lions's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Raimundo Salgado 56 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-7. If Raimundo Salgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimundo Salgado might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over António Coutinho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raimundo Salgado ran back to his position shaking his head. Folgosinho Lions's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Raimundo Salgado scored to the left of an out of position António Coutinho, making the score, 0-8. Raimundo Salgado's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, António Coutinho skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 68 minutes of play Folgosinho Lions's Fernando Freitas was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Alexandre Assunção fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without António Coutinho having to interfere. Raimundo Salgado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without António Coutinho having to make a save. If Siro Oro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Folgosinho Lions's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Raimundo Salgado 88 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-10. Raimundo Salgado in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of António Coutinho, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Higino Estrada's late challenge caught a Vareiros FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Higino Estrada helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th minute, Higino Estrada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raimundo Salgado did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-11 to the left of a surprised António Coutinho 96 minutes into the match.
