Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Porfírio Araújo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute of the match, Lourenço Gama tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pascoal Jesus saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mogadourense A. C.'s Pascoal Jesus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lourenço Gama in the 4th minute of play. Pascoal Jesus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Caldeira in the 6th minute. Reinaldo Azeredo came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Mogadourense A. C.'s Miguel Milio. But to his dismay, Miguel Milio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With his leg Pascoal Jesus managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Folga's Lourenço Gama fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Șerban Ionescu kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Reinaldo Azeredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermes Bezerra in the 14th minute of the match. Severino Candeias hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mogadourense A. C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lourenço Gama was slow to take the kick. During this time Folga's players had a chance to rest. Folga's Lourenço Gama was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pascoal Jesus in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 22 played minutes Folga got a freekick which was hit by Șerban Ionescu. When Moisés Monsanto came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Mogadourense A. C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moisés Monsanto couldn't finish the play. 30 minutes into the match, Folga's goal looked a bit too open when Hermes Bezerra came free, but Reinaldo Azeredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Mogadourense A. C.'s Miguel Milio in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Folga's goalie prevented a goal. Folga's Caetano das Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Milio in the 36th minute of play forced Folga's goalkeeper Reinaldo Azeredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Veríssimo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascoal Jesus having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Lourenço Gama hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Moisés Monsanto to strike the kick off in the second half. Abdelaziz Lamine Kab hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. If Moisés Varanda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Folga's Reinaldo Azeredo got control of the ball when Moisés Monsanto tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 68 played minutes Folga got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Veríssimo. In the 69th minute of the match Moisés Monsanto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Reinaldo Azeredo skillfully saved the ball. After 70 minutes, Hermes Bezerra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mogadourense A. C. and the Folga players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hermes Bezerra hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Hermes Bezerra succeeded in the game's 72nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. In the 75th minute, Manuel Caldeira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Folga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Reinaldo Azeredo made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Moisés Monsanto sent off a good shot on target. Reinaldo Azeredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermes Bezerra in the 81st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Folga's zone, Moisés Monsanto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reinaldo Azeredo came out of the goal and Moisés Monsanto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Manuel Caldeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Folga's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Caldeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pascoal Jesus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Porfírio Araújo in the 87th minute of play forced Mogadourense A. C.'s goalkeeper Pascoal Jesus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reinaldo Azeredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermes Bezerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Mogadourense A. C.'s Moisés Monsanto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. When the match was over Mogadourense A. C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Folga throughout the match.
