The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Maia AC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Armadouro:s goal. Pedro Macena had in the 39thth minute some difficulties stopping Isac Gueifão's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Isac Gueifão took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Macena. Pedro Macena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Isac Gueifão kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Macena. That made the score 2-6 in the 94 minute of play.
