The goalkeeper, André Onaca, was totally fooled by Pedreiras SC's Marco Reus, who 8 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Domingos Lencastres short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got André Onaca to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. André Onaca made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Marco Reus sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Pegasus's zone, Domingos Lencastre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Onaca came out of the goal and Domingos Lencastre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eduardo Ferrão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ervin Bogdán in the 22nd minute of the match. Pedreiras SC's Eduardo Ferrão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Txordon in the 23rd minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Pedreiras SC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Txordon came free, but Eduardo Ferrão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Onaca was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Marco Reus capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marco Reus really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. André Onaca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Peralta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedreiras SC's Eduardo Ferrão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Txordon in the 34th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Pegasus's Ramiro Txordon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eduardo Ferrão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Cristiano Malheiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. André Onaca was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramiro Txordon made a kick off. Pegasus's André Onaca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingos Lencastre in the 56th minute of play. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Pegasus getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Ramiro Txordon hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domingos Lencastre in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Onaca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 84 minutes into the match, Pedreiras SC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Txordon came free, but Eduardo Ferrão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 85 minutes, Ervin Bogdán managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pegasus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ervin Bogdán was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. André Onaca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Lencastre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute, Domingos Lencastre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. André Onaca was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Pedreiras SC's Eduardo Ferrão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Pedreiras SC from getting a goal against them. Pedreiras SC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
