The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6thth minute of the game Chu Tasso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mogadourense A. C.'s Pascoal Jesus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pascoal Jesus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chu Tasso in the 8th minute of the match. Tasso FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Moisés Monsanto scored to the left of an out of position Monte Lobato, making the score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chu Tasso in the 20th minute of play forced Mogadourense A. C.'s goalkeeper Pascoal Jesus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chu Tasso might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pascoal Jesus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chu Tasso ran back to his position shaking his head. Pascoal Jesus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chu Tasso in the 21st minute of the match. With a little luck, Tasso FC's Monte Lobato got control of the ball when Moisés Monsanto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chu Tasso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pascoal Jesus having to make a save. In the 40th minute Chu Tasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascoal Jesus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chu Tasso struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Pascoal Jesus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tasso FC. After a defensive mix-up in Mogadourense A. C.'s zone, Chu Tasso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pascoal Jesus came out of the goal and Chu Tasso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Tasso FC's Chu Tasso in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mogadourense A. C.'s goalie prevented a goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moisés Monsanto was the one to do the kick off. Machado Assis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 55 minutes into the game, Mogadourense A. C.'s Miguel Milio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Monte Lobato made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. With a little luck, Mogadourense A. C.'s Pascoal Jesus got control of the ball when Machado Assis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Monte Lobato came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Mogadourense A. C.'s Miguel Milio. But to his dismay, Miguel Milio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mogadourense A. C.'s goalkeeper Pascoal Jesus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 75th minute Chu Tasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascoal Jesus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute Vladimiro Pinheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Monte Lobato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Chu Tasso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pascoal Jesus. That made the score 3-2 in the 81 minute of play. After 87 played minutes Mogadourense A. C. got a freekick which was hit by Meng Yue Yin. After 89 played minutes Tasso FC got a freekick which was hit by Richard Dawkins. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mogadourense A. C.'s goalkeeper Pascoal Jesus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Monte Lobato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moisés Monsanto in the 94th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mogadourense A. C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tasso FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
