Isac Gueifão hit a great ball. In the 14th match minute, Imbativeis SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by József Deák to maneuver through the defense. Isac Gueifão was extremely unlucky when he, in the 15th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Mário Lustosa hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lúcio Lages in the 18th minute of play forced Armadouro's goalkeeper Januário Colaço to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25thth minute of the game Lúcio Lages who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Armadouro's Januário Colaço was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Máximo Câmara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, Lúcio Lages hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lúcio Lages fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Januário Colaço having to interfere. The supporters of Imbativeis SC booed when Armadouro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabino Vilela didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 42 minutes, Durval Freitas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Armadouro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Durval Freitas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Armadouro's goal looked a bit too open when Máximo Câmara came free, but Januário Colaço reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

After 52nd play minutes Lúcio Lages shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Januário Colaço and just under the crossbar into goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isac Gueifão in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raul Vilhena saved Imbativeis SC from getting behind. Máximo Câmara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute, Máximo Câmara made a precise shot to the right of Januário Colaço. Armadouro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The audience was convinced that Lúcio Lages's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Januário Colaço was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Januário Colaço took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lúcio Lages, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 minutes Armadouro's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bo Glad who took care of the corner kick. When Lúcio Lages came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Imbativeis SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lúcio Lages couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Armadouro's Roberto Maciel got a free kick in the 78th minute. A collision led to Armadouro getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Sílvio Mota hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the match, Armadouro's goalkeeper Januário Colaço had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Máximo Câmara. Armadouro's Januário Colaço proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Armadouro from getting a goal against them. 90 minutes into the match, Máximo Câmara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Januário Colaço. Armadouro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Máximo Câmara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Imbativeis SC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
