Spectators: 8043 (Terracing: 6033, Seating: 1850, VIP seats: 160) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jorge Palma who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Atanasije Martać when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jorge Palma came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Atanasije Martać could save by the left post. In the 19th minute Sérgio Infante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atanasije Martać saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atanasije Martać made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Ademar Figueiredo sent off a good shot on target. Sabino Belo hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Atanasije Martać came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Celtic FC's Jorge Palma. But to his dismay, Jorge Palma quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 33 minutes into the match, Galaxy Union FC's goalkeeper Atanasije Martać had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Palma. Jorge Palma kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Galaxy Union FC's Atanasije Martać played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Salgado in the 37th minute of play. Sabino Belo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 38 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Galaxy Union FC's Sabino Belo got a free kick in the 39th minute. Tomás Salgado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Atanasije Martać having to make a save. Carlinhos Ortiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Azeredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Galaxy Union FC's Quintino Quintela was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Carlinhos Ortiz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulino Azeredo was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Ademar Figueiredo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Celtic FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Atanasije Martać showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Palma in the 56th minute of the match. After having played for 63 minutes, Severiano Cesário managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Celtic FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severiano Cesário was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 64 minutes, Namık Kemal Gültekin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galaxy Union FC and the Celtic FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 played minutes Galaxy Union FC got a freekick which was hit by Namık Kemal Gültekin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ademar Figueiredo in the 69th minute of play forced Galaxy Union FC's goalkeeper Atanasije Martać to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71stth minute of the game Severiano Cesário who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galaxy Union FC's Atanasije Martać was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Atanasije Martać made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sérgio Infante in the 72nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Palma in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Atanasije Martać saved Galaxy Union FC from getting behind. Ademar Figueiredo scored 3-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Atanasije Martać, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 83 minutes into the match, Jorge Palma had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Atanasije Martać. Galaxy Union FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorge Palma was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Galaxy Union FC's Lisandro Portugal was substituted for Jarūnas Lavickas.
