Adolfo Rangel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rein Raun in the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Clube Desportivo Benfica's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edmund Wallin was slow to take the kick. During this time Black Moon's players had a chance to rest. The crowd rose to their feet as Burkhard Bieberstein kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alípio Paixão. That made the score 3-0 in the 21 minute of play. Alípio Paixão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Burkhard Bieberstein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Clube Desportivo Benfica's Burkhard Bieberstein in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Black Moon's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eriberto Donatello got free with Alípio Paixão in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sabino Espírito Santo charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sabino Espírito Santo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 44th play minutes Eriberto Donatello shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Alípio Paixão and just under the crossbar into goal.

The wind increased when Rein Raun made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burkhard Bieberstein in the 55th minute of play forced Black Moon's goalkeeper Alípio Paixão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adolfo Rangel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rein Raun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clube Desportivo Benfica's Adolfo Rangel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Éder Montenegro in the 74th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Black Moon's goal looked a bit too open when Burkhard Bieberstein came free, but Alípio Paixão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Burkhard Bieberstein in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alípio Paixão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Burkhard Bieberstein's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alípio Paixão was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Alípio Paixão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Donatello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96thth minute of the game Eriberto Donatello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Black Moon's Alípio Paixão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee ended the match the Clube Desportivo Benfica players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
