When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomás Salgado made a kick off. The supporters of Celtic FC booed when Black Moon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rein Raun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorge Palma took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alípio Paixão. Rein Raun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlinhos Ortiz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Severiano Cesário hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Carlinhos Ortiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rein Raun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
