Miramar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Burkhard Bieberstein was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-10. Clube Desportivo Benfica's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
