Amarante FC's Ivo Moutinho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to save Amarante FC from getting a goal against them. In the 4th minute of the match, Marian Lamru tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ivo Moutinho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Herberto Velasques scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivo Moutinho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alípio Paixão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertino Sequeira in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Black Moon's Marian Lamru dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Edmund Wallin struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Ivo Moutinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Black Moon. Alípio Paixão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albertino Sequeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Amarante FC's Ivo Moutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marian Lamru in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Marian Lamru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivo Moutinho. Amarante FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marian Lamru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 36 minutes into the game, Albertino Sequeira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Alípio Paixão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alípio Paixão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albertino Gama, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After a rather tough play, Black Moon's Sebastião Carreira got a free kick in the 39th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Black Moon's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Lemos came free, but Alípio Paixão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Amarante FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Lamru came free, but Ivo Moutinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Black Moon's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edmund Wallin in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Edmund Wallin made the kick off in the second half. Ivo Moutinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmund Wallin in the 52nd minute of play. Éder Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 56 minutes into the game, Herberto Camacho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Ivo Moutinho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ivo Moutinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herberto Camacho, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 62nd minute, Moisés Pádua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Black Moon's Alípio Paixão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertino Gama in the 70th minute of play. Herberto Camacho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute of the match, Albertino Gama tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alípio Paixão saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Éder Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivo Moutinho having to interfere. Hamilton Chagas kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. When Edmund Wallin came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Black Moon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmund Wallin couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Amarante FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Yuri Fraga hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Éder Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Black Moon players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
