Spectators: 6945 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1845, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Dias in the 30th minute of play forced Dream Team FC's goalkeeper Vicente Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viriato Seabra kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Alheira FC's Nuno Baptista got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Cassiano Barroso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vicente Simões was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Vicente Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute Humberto Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
