With an all-out effort, DPD FC's Romeu De Sousa threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Higino Lameiras, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Nuno Pais didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 杜誉宽 went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 杜誉宽 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 10th minute, 杜誉宽 made a precise shot to the right of Nuno Pais. DPD FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. A collision led to Milfontes United getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Aloísio Raposo hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jairo Setúbal in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romeu De Sousa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Higino Lameiras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute, Felix Baicu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Milfontes United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 杜誉宽 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Nuno Pais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Milfontes United booed when DPD FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Palmiro Ramires didn't get a good kick on the ball. 杜誉宽 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Nuno Pais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Pais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 杜誉宽 in the 32nd minute of the match. DPD FC's Nuno Pais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 杜誉宽 in the 33rd minute of play. Nuno Pais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sérgio Palhares, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, Sérgio Palhares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Milfontes United's Luís Travassos got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, Milfontes United's 杜誉宽 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nuno Pais narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of DPD FC booed when Milfontes United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. 杜誉宽 didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Milfontes United were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 53rd minute, Felix Baicu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Milfontes United's 杜誉宽 got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nuno Pais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 杜誉宽 in the 61st minute of play. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Raul Viana got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-5. 62 minutes into the match. Nuno Pais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Baicu, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Nuno Pais came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Milfontes United's Felix Baicu. But to his dismay, Felix Baicu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Raul Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Pais having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Felix Baicu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nuno Pais was relentless in the 94th minute of the game.
