The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carles Leal in the 6th minute of play forced Milfontes United's goalkeeper Romeu De Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romeu De Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aksaka Aks in the 8th minute of the match. Romeu De Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aksaka Aks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 minutes, Pacho Pepe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Akatsuki FC and the Milfontes United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pacho Pepe kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th match minute, Akatsuki FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pacho Pepe to maneuver through the defense. Luís Travassos was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 13th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 18thth minute of the game Carles Leal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Milfontes United's Romeu De Sousa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Romeu De Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carles Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carles Leal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Milfontes United's goal looked a bit too open when Carles Leal came free, but Romeu De Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Milfontes United's Romeu De Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aksaka Aks in the 29th minute of play. Timóteo Salazar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romeu De Sousa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. During the 38th minute of the match Pacho Pepe completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Pacho Pepe a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 38th match minute, Akatsuki FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pacho Pepe to maneuver through the defense. When Aksaka Aks fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Akatsuki FC's protests and gave Aksaka Aks a yellow card for diving instead. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Akatsuki FC! When the match had been going on for 45 minutes, Milfontes United's Felix Baicu got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Eurico Santiago. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carles Leal was the one to do the kick off. Carles Leal who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 50thth minute tested the skills of Romeu De Sousa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 54th minute, Felix Baicu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Milfontes United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Milfontes United's Romeu De Sousa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Milfontes United from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Akatsuki FC defense, 杜誉宽 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eurico Santiago. The Akatsuki FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eurico Santiago should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Milfontes United's zone, Timóteo Salazar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romeu De Sousa came out of the goal and Timóteo Salazar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Romeu De Sousa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Timóteo Salazar's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Carles Leal's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Romeu De Sousa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Milfontes United's Romeu De Sousa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Milfontes United from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Milfontes United's Romeu De Sousa got control of the ball when Carles Leal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Romeu De Sousa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Carles Leal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 74 minute of play. When Alexandrino Guterres fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Akatsuki FC's protests and gave Alexandrino Guterres a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Baicu in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eurico Santiago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner ended in Remus Pinalski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Akatsuki FC's Eurico Santiago did a great save. Felix Baicu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carles Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu De Sousa having to interfere.
