A hard shot by José Pimentel from long distance, 14 minutes into the match, got Nuno Pais's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Nuno Pais was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Andaka Rääbis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. DPD FC's Nuno Pais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arno Juur in the 43rd minute of play. Tarcísio Calçada kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, DPD FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arno Juur came free, but Nuno Pais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Andaka Rääbis made the kick off in the second half. Andaka Rääbis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind DPD FC's goalkeeper Nuno Pais, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, Andaka Rääbis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Vietname United had won after a very even match.
