In the 2nd match minute, Pau Nas Canelas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludomir Barna to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Pau Nas Canelas's Caio Rodrigues threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edinho Moraes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Eusébio Bragança received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Gentil Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Pau Nas Canelas's Edinho Moraes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Caio Rodrigues. Caio Rodrigues yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Sporting Vila Facaia's Caio Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edinho Moraes in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tolek Misiewicz in the 19th minute of play forced Pau Nas Canelas's goalkeeper Gentil Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Sporting Vila Facaia's goalkeeper Caio Rodrigues had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Palmiro Picasso. Gentil Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Couto in the 26th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Pau Nas Canelas's goal looked a bit too open when Tolek Misiewicz came free, but Gentil Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute Eusébio Bragança shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gentil Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lütfi Özil kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute of the match Daniel Monsanto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Caio Rodrigues showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lütfi Özil during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lütfi Özil kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Oséas Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Caio Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39 minutes Sporting Vila Facaia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Monsanto who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Pau Nas Canelas's Daniel Monsanto to fire away a dangerous shot which Caio Rodrigues despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Avelino Tinoco's late challenge caught a Sporting Vila Facaia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Avelino Tinoco helped the player get up and apologised. Avelino Tinoco kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Edinho Moraes charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edinho Moraes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pau Nas Canelas getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Edinho Moraes hit a great ball. With a little luck, Sporting Vila Facaia's Caio Rodrigues got control of the ball when Ludomir Barna tried to sneak it across the goal line.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eusébio Bragança stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the game, Carlos Cardoso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting Vila Facaia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pau Nas Canelas the free kick. Carlos Cardoso kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Gentil Miranda made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Eusébio Bragança sent off a good shot on target. Gentil Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Guerreiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Edinho Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pau Nas Canelas's supporters rose to their feet, but Edinho Moraes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caio Rodrigues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Caio Rodrigues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edinho Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the game, Edinho Moraes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Caio Rodrigues was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Caio Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Palmiro Picasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Edinho Moraes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tolek Misiewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gentil Miranda having to interfere. Gentil Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Lucena, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Humberto Lucena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Gentil Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sporting Vila Facaia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pau Nas Canelas.
