Hilário Diegues kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Barry McDermott scored 0-3 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mateus Belém, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Ceuta FC's zone, Barry McDermott stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egídio Palmeira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
