Dark Wolves FC's Israel Vito got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomislav Kardum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edinho Moraes in the 10th minute of the match. Tomislav Kardum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Palmiro Picasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Dark Wolves FC's Israel Vito got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Dark Wolves FC's Zarco Caires got a free kick in the 15th minute. After having played for 16 minutes, Palmiro Picasso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pau Nas Canelas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Palmiro Picasso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Edinho Moraes put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tomislav Kardum. In the 30th minute, Edinho Moraes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomislav Kardum was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Tris Rayner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Gentil Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Israel Vito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Oséas Moraes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 84 played minutes, Dark Wolves FC's Manuel Bettencourt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gentil Miranda came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dark Wolves FC reached it. The supporters of Pau Nas Canelas booed when Dark Wolves FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Bettencourt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th match minute, Dark Wolves FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Israel Vito to maneuver through the defense. Dark Wolves FC's Tomislav Kardum proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Dark Wolves FC from getting a goal against them. Pau Nas Canelas's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
