In the 14thth minute of the game Lourenço Valido who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Vila Facaia's Caio Rodrigues was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Joaquim Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sporting Vila Facaia's Caio Rodrigues proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Vila Facaia from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Sporting Vila Facaia's Caio Rodrigues got control of the ball when Tobias Resende tried to sneak it across the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Eusébio Bragança had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kevin Abreu. Ramada FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eusébio Bragança was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 31st minute of the match Sporting Vila Facaia got a corner. Ramada FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sem Mano ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Sporting Vila Facaia's Sem Mano to fire away a dangerous shot which Kevin Abreu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Caio Rodrigues came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Ramada FC's Tobias Resende. But to his dismay, Tobias Resende quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 40 minutes into the match, Ramada FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Cardoso came free, but Kevin Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caio Rodrigues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Normando Sales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Sporting Vila Facaia booed when Ramada FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. António Taborda didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Sporting Vila Facaia's Sem Mano got a free kick in the 46th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Sporting Vila Facaia's Carlos Cardoso got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ramada FC's Kevin Abreu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Ramada FC from getting a goal against them. The referee felt a red card was in order, 63 minutes into the game, when Gastão Porto put in a rough tackle. The supporters of Sporting Vila Facaia booed when Ramada FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gastão Porto didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Sem Mano came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Sporting Vila Facaia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sem Mano couldn't finish the play. A hard, long distance shot from Tobias Resende flew over the goal. Albérico Prates hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tobias Resende in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caio Rodrigues saved Sporting Vila Facaia from getting behind. In the 85th match minute, Ramada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Campos to maneuver through the defense. Ramada FC's Kevin Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lütfi Özil in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute Tobias Resende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Normando Sales's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Caio Rodrigues was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Ramada FC's attack was well implemented in the 92nd minute, but when Normando Sales was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Kevin Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Carrasqueira in the 94th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Normando Sales in the 96th minute of play forced Sporting Vila Facaia's goalkeeper Caio Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
