Spectators: 7502 (Terracing: 6002, Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eurico Franco kicked off to start the match. Coimbra FC's Emmanuel Malbec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Lustosa in the 4th minute of play. After 5 minutes Coimbra FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Christer Persson who took care of the corner kick. SC CANSINO were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Coimbra FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Christer Persson took the corner. The corner led SC CANSINO's Christer Persson to fire away a dangerous shot which Emmanuel Malbec despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. SC CANSINO's Henrik Van Craesbeeck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eurico Franco in the 13th minute of play. Marcelo Lustosa did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Emmanuel Malbec 15 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, Nuno Gomes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henrik Van Craesbeeck was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Sigvard Naaby fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC CANSINO's protests and gave Sigvard Naaby a yellow card for diving instead. After 29 played minutes SC CANSINO got a freekick which was hit by Sigvard Naaby. Henrik Van Craesbeeck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eurico Franco, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Henrik Van Craesbeeck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eurico Franco in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute Nuno Gomes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrik Van Craesbeeck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, SC CANSINO's 彭铮帆 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emmanuel Malbec made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After having played for 43 minutes, Marcelo Lustosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC CANSINO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelo Lustosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelo Lustosa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Coimbra FC got a freekick which was hit by Benny Haag. In the 53rd minute Christer Persson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emmanuel Malbec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Eurico Franco could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Henrik Van Craesbeeck however easily saved by the left post. In the 66th minute, Coimbra FC's Eurico Franco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Henrik Van Craesbeeck. Henrik Van Craesbeeck yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. In the 70th minute, Marcelo Lustosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, SC CANSINO's Henrik Van Craesbeeck got control of the ball when Jerardo Echavarría tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerardo Echavarría got free with Henrik Van Craesbeeck in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcelo Lustosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emmanuel Malbec read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Lustosa in the 88th minute of play forced Coimbra FC's goalkeeper Emmanuel Malbec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Marcelo Lustosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emmanuel Malbec was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. In the 96th minute Marcelo Lustosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emmanuel Malbec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC CANSINO's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
