SC CANSINO's Henrik Van Craesbeeck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandro Beltrán in the 15th minute of play. Alexandro Beltrán sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Henrik Van Craesbeeck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexandro Beltrán's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 26thth minute of the game Marcelo Lustosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sanguinhedo FC's Arnulfo Gamus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sanguinhedo FC's zone, Marcelo Lustosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnulfo Gamus came out of the goal and Marcelo Lustosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 38 minutes into the match, SC CANSINO's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandro Beltrán came free, but Henrik Van Craesbeeck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sanguinhedo FC's Arnulfo Gamus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Sanguinhedo FC from getting a goal against them. In the 43rd minute of the match SC CANSINO got a corner. Sanguinhedo FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Christer Persson ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Benigno Azevedo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Alexandro Beltrán charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexandro Beltrán the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcelo Lustosa to make the kick off. With a little luck, SC CANSINO's Henrik Van Craesbeeck got control of the ball when Octávio Salgueiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sanguinhedo FC's Kaapo Mastropiero suffered a sore thigh after 58 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 58 minutes, Cândido Assis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The shot was stopped by Henrik Van Craesbeeck but with some difficulty. 67 minutes into the match, SC CANSINO's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Mascarenhas came free, but Henrik Van Craesbeeck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 minutes, Matias Dantas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sanguinhedo FC and the SC CANSINO players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sanguinhedo FC's Matias Dantas got a free kick in the 70th minute. Sanguinhedo FC's Arnulfo Gamus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Lustosa in the 71st minute of play. After 89 minutes Sanguinhedo FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Christer Persson who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Christer Persson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arnulfo Gamus quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sanguinhedo FC played a much better game than SC CANSINO and deserved their victory. The SC CANSINO players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
