The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Emmanuel Malbec came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Sanguinhedo FC's Alexandro Beltrán. But to his dismay, Alexandro Beltrán quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 29 minutes into the game, Alexandro Beltrán cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Emmanuel Malbec was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Emmanuel Malbec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandro Beltrán in the 34th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Octávio Salgueiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emmanuel Malbec. That made the score 4-0 in the 37 minute of play. Kaapo Mastropiero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emmanuel Malbec having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Octávio Salgueiro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Emmanuel Malbec, 5-0. After 49 played minutes, Sanguinhedo FC's Matias Dantas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emmanuel Malbec came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sanguinhedo FC reached it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eurico Franco to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Sanguinhedo FC's Alexandro Beltrán got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Alexandro Beltrán had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emmanuel Malbec. Coimbra FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexandro Beltrán was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Emmanuel Malbec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandro Beltrán in the 60th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Coimbra FC's Ilídio Soares got a free kick in the 61st minute. Arnulfo Gamus made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Eurico Franco sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th minute, Alexandro Beltrán ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emmanuel Malbec was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0.
