Aldaír Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Parente in the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Jorge Rebocho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Aldaír Ferreira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The AC Guizão fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aldaír Ferreira should have stopped the shot. In the 44th minute, Augusto Soeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in AC Guizão's zone, Mariano Pegado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aldaír Ferreira came out of the goal and Mariano Pegado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Rebocho got free with Aldaír Ferreira in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute Mariano Pegado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldaír Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Hermes Mendes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luís Espinosa. Hermes Mendes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. On Fire Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hermes Mendes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. AC Guizão's Aldaír Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Rebocho in the 71st minute of play. Aldaír Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Rebocho, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After 88 minutes of play, On Fire Club's Pedro Parente made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aldaír Ferreira was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Jorge Rebocho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Rebocho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Aldaír Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Parente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldaír Ferreira having to interfere. When Santiago Póvoas fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored On Fire Club's protests and gave Santiago Póvoas a yellow card for diving instead. After 96 played minutes On Fire Club got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Póvoas. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
