Teachers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fan Wen Quan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fan Wen Quan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Reynardo Iturralde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Torralta's Reynardo Iturralde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fan Wen Quan in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Malafaia in the 29th minute of play forced Teachers FC's goalkeeper Ricardo Zamora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fan Wen Quan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Reynardo Iturralde made a huge save. 36 minutes into the match, Torralta's goalkeeper Reynardo Iturralde had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Baião. 45 minutes into the game, Luís Vidal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Torralta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Teachers FC the free kick. A collision led to Torralta getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Luís Vidal hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isac Saldanha to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute, one of Teachers FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Teachers FC. Ricardo Zamora went to the wrong direction when Achraf Hakimi was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After 66 played minutes Torralta got a freekick which was hit by Albertino Osório. 67 minutes into the match, Teachers FC's Adalberto Barreto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reynardo Iturralde narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Teachers FC's Herbert Fronczak got a free kick in the 68th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Torralta's goal looked a bit too open when Fan Wen Quan came free, but Reynardo Iturralde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reynardo Iturralde didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fan Wen Quan went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Teachers FC's Sílvio Vilhena was substituted for Adalberto Barreto. After having played for 85 minutes, Fan Wen Quan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Teachers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fan Wen Quan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 92 minutes of play, Teachers FC's Hüsnü Taş made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reynardo Iturralde was left in no man's land by his defense there! For all the effort they put into the match, the Torralta players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Teachers FC.
