In the 10th minute, Alfredo Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Álvaro Ribas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredo Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Álvaro Ribas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Montenegro in the 19th minute of the match. Gusmão Sá kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Gusmão Sá got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nicolas Mourão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Gusmão Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Mourão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Azevedo's late challenge caught a SC Carragosa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Azevedo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Winston Premium 100S getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. David Azevedo hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 54th minute of the match SC Carragosa got a corner. Winston Premium 100S's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. José Laureano ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alfredo Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Álvaro Ribas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Winston Premium 100S's Álvaro Ribas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juliano Carneiro in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Gusmão Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Winston Premium 100S's zone, Alfredo Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Álvaro Ribas came out of the goal and Alfredo Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64th match minute, Winston Premium 100S was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Mourão to maneuver through the defense. If Juliano Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juliano Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Ribas having to interfere. Alfredo Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Álvaro Ribas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Azevedo scored 2-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emanuel Mourão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In a very dangerous position, a player in Winston Premium 100S fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! Juliano Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Winston Premium 100S's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
