Homero Gago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyryl Faron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of pianurese booed when PIQÕES FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentim Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 26 played minutes PIQÕES FC got a freekick which was hit by Valentim Oliveira. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sidónio Ribas in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Homero Gago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Homero Gago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidónio Ribas, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Homero Gago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyryl Faron in the 38th minute of the match.

In the 69th match minute, pianurese was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Guarda to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Sidónio Ribas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Homero Gago. That made the score 0-3 in the 74 minute of play. The throw-in from Jacob Seabra in the 79th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by PIQÕES FC's Avelino Castro. Cyryl Faron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jacob Seabra's late challenge caught a PIQÕES FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacob Seabra helped the player get up and apologised. Jacob Seabra kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Cyryl Faron had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Homero Gago. PIQÕES FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cyryl Faron was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The PIQÕES FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. pianurese were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
