The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Clube do Povo de Esgueira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baltasar Magalhães was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 8th minute, Szymon Scislowicz made a precise shot to the right of Noel Vidigal. Clube do Povo de Esgueira's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 11 minutes into the match, Szymon Scislowicz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Noel Vidigal, 3-0. Szymon Scislowicz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Noel Vidigal came out and tried to block the shot, but Szymon Scislowicz slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 14th minute. In the 19th minute Szymon Scislowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Vidigal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29thth minute of the game Julião Colaço who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Acerca FC's Heitor Branco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 34th minute, Acerca FC's Szymon Scislowicz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Noel Vidigal. Noel Vidigal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-1. 39 minutes in the game, Szymon Scislowicz fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Noel Vidigal having to interfere. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by Clube do Povo de Esgueira's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Basílio Moita was slow to take the kick. During this time Acerca FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Acerca FC's Basílio Moita to fire away a dangerous shot which Noel Vidigal despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Szymon Scislowicz in the 45th minute of play forced Clube do Povo de Esgueira's goalkeeper Noel Vidigal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Acerca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Murilo Espinosa came free, but Heitor Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Szymon Scislowicz made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Baltasar Magalhães made a precise shot to the right of Noel Vidigal. Clube do Povo de Esgueira's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1. Estevão Pintos short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Heitor Branco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 59th match minute, Acerca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Neves to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Murilo Espinosa got free with Heitor Branco in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Heitor Branco made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Estevão Pinto sent off a good shot on target. Flávio Lamego kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Baltasar Magalhães recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baltasar Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Vidigal having to interfere. 78 minutes into the game, Acerca FC's Adrian Mierzejewski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Noel Vidigal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-2. 83 minutes into the game, Baltasar Magalhães cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-2. Noel Vidigal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 86 minutes into the match, Clube do Povo de Esgueira's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Magalhães came free, but Noel Vidigal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Acerca FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Baltasar Magalhães hit a great ball. After 93 minutes, Klemensas Guzas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Acerca FC and the Clube do Povo de Esgueira players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Clube do Povo de Esgueira's Alexandre Poças got a free kick in the 95th minute. Clube do Povo de Esgueira's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
