Jorge Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sem Tinø, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 6 minutes into the game, Sem Tinø cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jorge Tinoco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luís Cunha scored 0-2 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorge Tinoco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th minute, Sem Tinø ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jorge Tinoco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Sem Tinø scored 0-5 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorge Tinoco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jorge Tinoco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sem Tinø, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sem Tinø was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Algoso Warriors's goalkeeper Jorge Tinoco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Algoso Warriors's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Luís Cunha scored to the left of an out of position Jorge Tinoco, making the score, 0-6. Algoso Warriors's Jorge Tinoco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sem Tinø in the 59th minute of play. Neymar Pequeño came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jorge Tinoco could save by the left post. Dany Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Tinoco having to interfere. 67 minutes into the game, Isidoro Esparteiro threw the ball into play from the sideline. S.L.Benfica's Carol Valentine quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 72nd minute, Sem Tinø left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.L.Benfica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Sem Tinø received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jorge Tinoco came out and tried to block the shot, but Sem Tinø slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 77th minute. Sem Tinø sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neymar Pequeño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Jorge Tinoco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Tinoco came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by S.L.Benfica's Neymar Pequeño. But to his dismay, Neymar Pequeño quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. Neymar Pequeño recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. S.L.Benfica's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
