Seating: 1837, VIP seats: 159) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Graciano Ponte took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rui Vilarinho got free with Vasco Marinho in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vasco Marinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Graciano Ponte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 5 minutes into the match, Bonifacio Romano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vasco Marinho, 1-0. Vasco Marinho was a little too slow when Rui Vilarinho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Graciano Ponte in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vasco Marinho saved Algoso Warriors from getting behind. Homero Simões kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Paulo Bento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atanasije Vuković saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Algoso Warriors's Vasco Marinho got control of the ball when Rui Vilarinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Graciano Ponte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the game, Titãs FC's Rui Vilarinho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vasco Marinho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Cristiano Lattanzio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Vasco Marinho made a huge save. Vasco Marinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rui Vilarinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Graciano Ponte in the 45th minute of play forced Algoso Warriors's goalkeeper Vasco Marinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.
51 minutes into the game, Pedro Cerqueira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Vasco Marinho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vasco Marinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Vilarinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Cristiano Lattanzio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd match minute, Algoso Warriors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Homero Simões to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Graciano Ponte in the 68th minute of play forced Algoso Warriors's goalkeeper Vasco Marinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Pedro Cerqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vasco Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rui Vilarinho took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vasco Marinho. Vasco Marinho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 74th minute, Graciano Ponte made a precise shot to the right of Vasco Marinho. Algoso Warriors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Vasco Marinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Graciano Ponte, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Vasco Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Vilarinho in the 83rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Algoso Warriors's Isidoro Esparteiro got a free kick in the 84th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Cristiano Lattanzio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vasco Marinho. Algoso Warriors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristiano Lattanzio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. After having played for 93 minutes, Cristiano Lattanzio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Titãs FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristiano Lattanzio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Titãs FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
