Alípio Palha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valentim Carreira in the 9th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Academia Dragões-FLF's goalkeeper Alípio Palha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renato Corte-Real. After a rather tough play, Academia Dragões-FLF's Gervásio Leitão got a free kick in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the match, S. L. Sousel's goal looked a bit too open when Belchior Carreira came free, but Ricardo Assis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alípio Palha made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Valentim Carreira sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valentim Carreira in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alípio Palha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32nd minute Renato Corte-Real shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alípio Palha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 33 minutes, André Gaspar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S. L. Sousel's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Gaspar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute of the match, André Gaspar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alípio Palha saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, Academia Dragões-FLF's Alípio Palha got control of the ball when Alfredo Amaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Academia Dragões-FLF's goal looked a bit too open when André Gaspar came free, but Alípio Palha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alípio Palha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Gaspar, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. A collision led to Academia Dragões-FLF getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Filipe Monteiro hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the match, Valentim Carreira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alípio Palha. Academia Dragões-FLF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentim Carreira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Gaspar in the 65th minute of play forced Academia Dragões-FLF's goalkeeper Alípio Palha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the game, S. L. Sousel's André Gaspar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alípio Palha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Valentim Carreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. S. L. Sousel's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentim Carreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alípio Palha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alípio Palha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Gaspar, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 83rdth minute of the game André Gaspar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia Dragões-FLF's Alípio Palha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 89th minute, Renato Corte-Real got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Renato Corte-Real took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alípio Palha. Alípio Palha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0.
