Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Valentim Carreira kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, Renato Corte-Real was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S. L. Sousel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cotinguiba Futebol Manage the free kick. After 3 played minutes S. L. Sousel got a freekick which was hit by Renato Corte-Real. With a little luck, S. L. Sousel's Ricardo Assis got control of the ball when Zeferino Durães tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joaquim Soeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeferino Durães got free with Ricardo Assis in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Gaspar in the 13th minute of play forced Cotinguiba Futebol Manage's goalkeeper Rui Lisboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute of the match S. L. Sousel got a corner. Cotinguiba Futebol Manage's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alfredo Amaro ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Severiano Braga got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-1. 15 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute, Cotinguiba Futebol Manage's Angelo Curado ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ricardo Assis. Ricardo Assis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Ricardo Assis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Assis made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Joaquim Santana sent off a good shot on target. Ricardo Assis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Curado in the 29th minute of play. Rui Lisboa came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by S. L. Sousel's Renato Corte-Real. But to his dismay, Renato Corte-Real quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Ricardo Assis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Curado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rui Lisboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Boaventura in the 37th minute of play. Rui Lisboa came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by S. L. Sousel's Renato Corte-Real. But to his dismay, Renato Corte-Real quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 42 minutes into the match, Cotinguiba Futebol Manage's goal looked a bit too open when André Gaspar came free, but Rui Lisboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rui Lisboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentim Carreira in the 44th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angelo Curado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Severiano Braga hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valentim Carreira got free with Rui Lisboa in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of S. L. Sousel booed when Cotinguiba Futebol Manage was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Curado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th match minute, S. L. Sousel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nivaldo Pádua to maneuver through the defense. After 59 played minutes S. L. Sousel got a freekick which was hit by Nivaldo Pádua. Ricardo Assis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseu Ruas, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Hermes Travassos charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hermes Travassos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hermes Travassos hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the match, Joaquim Santana notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of S. L. Sousel's Ricardo Assis. Ricardo Assis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joaquim Santana scored 4-3 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Assis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Renato Corte-Real took a quick shot and it went in 4-4 without a chance for Rui Lisboa to make any attempt to save it. S. L. Sousel's Ricardo Assis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Santana in the 93rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Valentim Carreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. S. L. Sousel's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentim Carreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rui Lisboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The S. L. Sousel players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Cotinguiba Futebol Manage from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
